The Author

Ivy Anderson was born in Chicago. He attended Lindblom High School in Chicago, and Roosevelt high school in Gary, Indiana. He is a Desert Shield and Desert Storm veteran.

Illustrator Layla Anderson was born in Tokyo, Japan. She attended Lane Technical High School and Notre Dame High School for girls, and received her BA in animation from Depaul University.
